#94 – Kid Peligro

Show Summary

Tim and Francisco start off the show talking about the supposed “freeze out” of co-host Ernest Mello. Tim explains that Ernest is not frozen out of the show and has been absent due to scheduling conflicts. Tim calls out bad behavior on display in the Jiu-Jitsu crowd specifically from opposing schools, instructors, and competitors. The guys talk about the postponement of Metamoris 3 and why the Jiu-Jitsu community is partly to blame. Tim talks about the Tim Sledd’s Leg Drag DVD workshop and announces a new Meme contest.

Later, the guys call Kid Peligro to talk about his history in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Kid talks about how he got started writing Jiu-Jitsu books despite not having a journalism background. Kid talks about the making of the Gracie Way, his relationship with the famous Abu Dabhi Sheik, Mr Tahnoon Bin Zayed, and much more.

Afterwards, the guys do a message board recap and Tim calls out Sherdog and the Atama BJJ message boards for the repetitive lame threads.
