Show Summary
Join Tim and Matt as they sit down with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and MMA fighter Daniel Gracie cousin of Renzo, Ralph, Charles, and the late Ryan Gracie. Daniel talks about training at the legendary “Barra” Gracie gym with Carlinhos, Renzo, and the Machado brothers. Daniel also talks about Jiu-Jitsu gangs, fighting in the streets of Brazil, and training. Daniel tells funny stories of Renzo making him lift up his shirt to show his fat, his first MMA fight in Pride 21, and the infamous Rey Diogo incident.
Later, the guys recap the message board and make fun of a white belt, the SD Governor who hates MMA, and the dude that got married wearing his gi.

Great interview! I was laughing out loud listening to Daniel telling his stories about Renzo. It was great to hear the actual history of Gracie Barra (aside from Gracie Jiu Jitsu)… Awesome show!
