So that’s where his school name Ronin comes from, because Ernest lost his master and is now a masterless samurai panda? I thought he was gonna cry at one point, and maybe disembowel himself on the air. J/k! It was a really good podcast, not just because I’m a big fan of Ernest. It’s too bad that there are these stories about schools splitting on bad terms, but it always seems to happen in bjj. Also interesting hearing about the different culture in wrestling. Good show!
Yes, that’s where the name came from. The split was lame and probably could have been avoided. The show was supposed to be funny but he took a turn for the serious. I think he needed to get it off his chest. I knew it would happen on the podcast eventually.
